Team 1EV Aero Spoke Wheel Insert Covers are designed with retaining tabs which slide across the wheel edge when pressing into place.  Installing the Covers on a clean wheel will not scratch the wheel.  However, for those that want added protection against scuffing the wheel paint, or those who plan to frequently install and remove the Covers, Team 1EV offers a simple 'paint protection film' decal kit.   

A kit of 100 paint protection film decals (PPF) designed specifically for use with Team 1EV Aero Inserts.   Each decal measures 0.75" x 0.75" with radius edges.  Decals are CNC cut using 3M gloss paint protection film.  Each wheel requires 20 decals (4 per Aero insert, 5 Aero inserts per wheel), this kit includes 20 extra decals.

Installation is easy.  Wheels must be washed thoroughly, especially around the spoke openings where PPF decals will be applied.  After washing and drying all wheels, alcohol prep pads are supplied to prep the wheel surfaces for applying PPF decals.   A template can be downloaded and printed to guide precise placement of PPF decals on each spoke opening.   Download template HERE.
