The Slate platform begins as a compact, two-seat electric pickup that owners can personalize around their individual needs. More Than a Retailer—We Are a Product Engineering Company

EV Sportline is not simply an online retailer selecting generic products from a catalog. We are an automotive product engineering and development company with in-house expertise in design, engineering, prototyping, testing, manufacturing and vehicle installation.

Our team evaluates each new vehicle as a complete platform. We study its factory dimensions, mounting locations, load requirements, electrical systems, intended uses and installation considerations before developing an accessory.

This hands-on process allows us to create vehicle-specific products that look integrated, install properly and perform as intended. Whenever possible, our products are designed around straightforward installation and existing factory mounting locations.

More Than a Decade of EV Aftermarket Leadership

Our experience with electric vehicles began before EVs became mainstream. Our sister company, T Sportline, was established in 2013 as the world’s first Tesla tuner and helped establish the market for Tesla-specific wheels, accessories and vehicle customization.

As Tesla expanded from the Model S to the Model X, Model 3, Model Y and Cybertruck, our product portfolio grew with it. We developed upgrades designed around the unique requirements of electric vehicles, including their weight, efficiency, aerodynamics, wheel specifications, electronic systems and vehicle-specific installation needs.

We later applied that experience to Rivian, where EV Sportline became a leading source for R1T, R1S and R2 accessories. Our Rivian product development has included wheels, running boards, suspension upgrades, roof-rack systems, exterior protection, cargo solutions and adventure-focused accessories.

We are now bringing the knowledge gained from leading both the Tesla and Rivian aftermarket categories to the Slate Auto platform.

While our dedicated EV journey began in 2013, our automotive experience reaches back much further. Members of our team bring decades of experience from the luxury, performance, professional racing and automotive aftermarket industries.

That background gives us a valuable combination of traditional automotive knowledge and specialized EV expertise. We understand how enthusiasts use their vehicles, what professional-quality fit and finish should look like and how a properly engineered accessory can improve a vehicle without compromising its original character.

Developing Accessories for the Slate Pickup and SUV

The Slate platform is still in preproduction, and final vehicle details remain subject to change. As vehicle information, production specifications and development vehicles become available, EV Sportline will evaluate opportunities across a broad range of product categories.

Not every product will be available at launch. Each EV Sportline-developed product must first move through design, prototyping, fitment validation and real-world testing. We would rather properly engineer and test an accessory than rush an unfinished product to market.

A Platform Designed to Evolve

One of the most compelling aspects of Slate is that the vehicle is intended to evolve with its owner. A Slate could serve as a compact electric work truck, an urban daily driver, a five-seat SUV or an adventure-focused recreational vehicle.
