The front of your Rivian R2 takes a beating every time you drive. Rocks, gravel, sand, insects, and other road debris constantly impact the painted surfaces. Our pre-cut R2 PPF kit lets you add professional-grade protection yourself — without paying a professional installer thousands of dollars for a full front PPF installation. This isn't a universal roll of film that you have to measure, trim, or cut on your vehicle. Each piece is computer-patterned and CNC-cut specifically for the Rivian R2, giving you the correct shapes and contours before installation begins.
We design our own exclusive patterns, developed specifically to aid DIY installation. The kit is designed to protect the R2's most vulnerable frontal painted surfaces while maintaining the clean factory appearance of your Rivian. Once properly installed, the clear PPF virtually disappears while providing a durable sacrificial barrier between your paint and the road. We specifically include the frontal partial hood and fascia only. The reason we do a partial hood is because this gives you almost 98% 'risk protection' from stones, but saves you significantly in level of effort and complexity for installation. The added benefit from doing the full hood is not worth the extra cost and extra DIY install challenge. Same reasoning for why we do not include 'front fenders'. There is practically zero chance a 'rock' chips the fenders, so we're not forcing those into this kit or adding that install complexity.
Can you do this?! Yes, you can! This kit was developed to be DIY friendly, even if you do not have experience installing films. If you have some patience and can follow our step-by-step video, you can accomplish a high quality install. Our kit is designed for DIY install, so we've optimized the template around the typical more difficult edges and corners accordingly. Our kit includes some practice film, which you can use to 'get familiar with the process'. We have a 'double' kit, in-case you want to buy an extra set of PPF films - get them now, and you'll be ready incase of install issues or needing to replace down the road if the vehicle gets damaged.
