Team 1EV Engineers have developed a stylish aerodynamic wheel spoke insert kit for the factory Rivian R1T R1S 20" five spoke all-terrain wheels. The aero inserts are engineered to simply snap in place with a light push, requiring no hardware, adhesive, clips or modifications. This DIY friendly kit will transform the look of your factory Rivian wheels, along with providing the benefit of reducing the aero-robbing open spoke surface area of the wheels. The Team 1EV Aero Spoke Inserts were designed to balance improving wheel aerodynamics and aesthetics while maintaining sufficient brake system air flow. Using CFD and a strict design language guideline, Team 1EV worked on maximizing range while creating a refined style to optimize factory Rivian R1T R1S 20" All-Terrain wheels.
The Team 1EV Aero Inserts can be easily installed and removed as desired. For those that plan to frequently remove the inserts, a custom storage tote bag is offered optionally. The storage tote is designed specifically for Team 1EV Aero inserts and features a unique 5 pocket, 4 section internal design to ensure safe and scratch-free storage of the Aero inserts when not in use. While the Aero inserts will not damage wheels, for those customers who want added protection against scuffing the factory wheel finish from repeated on / off use of Aero inserts, an optional paint protection film (PPF) kit is offered, including 100 (80 required and 20 spares) properly sized 'protection' film decals (clear film) which can be applied to the factory wheel where the Aero insert clips make contact.
The unique "press-in place" and "pull-off wheel" design is based on a proven non-marring four (4) point retaining tab structure used on various other factory aero covers.
