True to Rivian ethos, these kitchens are built for adventure—and for mornings when you want coffee and breakfast rolling fast. With an ultra-quick setup, you can be cooking within minutes of stepping out of your tent.
Each Kitchen assembly is made from powder-coated aluminum and architectural wood sections. The setup includes a dual-burner induction cooktop, four rugged waxed-canvas storage bags, and a collapsible sink basin - powered conveniently from your Rivian R1T’s 110v AC power. The real showstopper: it folds open to reveal over 9 sq. ft. of countertop space for prep, serving, and organization. And yes—there’s even a built-in bottle opener for the chef! One of our favorite features of our Gear Sled for your Rivian R1T is how easy it is to install (and remove) from your truck. Once you have the Gear Sled installed, adding the kitchen modules is a snap. The setup is offered in driver side or passenger side pull-out configuration.

The Thunderbolt Adventure Supply Camp Kitchen comes with an integrated two-burner induction cooktop. It is matched to the outlet in the Rivian and is equipped with load balancing so that it does not trip the outlet’s breaker.
The Gear Sled (without the Kitchen modules attached) can hold up to 200 pounds of total weight.
When the Kitchen Modules are installed on the Gear Sled, you can add about 100 pounds of additional gear in the cooktop and sink modules. You can also store a full water tank in the storage module.
All Thunderbolt Adventure Supply Gear Sleds and Camp Kitchens are designed and made in California from the highest-grade marine-grade plywood available. Our internal Gear Bags are made in Washington State from waxed canvas.
We made installation truly simple - all you need are the provided bolts, a No. 3 Phillips-head screwdriver, and a shop towel. Please watch the YouTube video instructions. If you have any questions, contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
The best part is that installation is not permanent. The kitchen modules are designed to be easily removed, providing full access to your gear tunnel cargo area when needed. And the Gear Sled can also be easily removed.
No. When mounted properly, Thunderbolt Adventure Supply Gear Sled and Camp Kitchen operate as a cantilever (extends horizontally and is supported at only one end).
We recommend you utilize the leveling function in your Rivian (found under Camp Mode). We tend to set our truck in Standard or High depending on the terrain of our campsite, and then initiate the leveling function. Once that is complete, the Camp Kitchen will be as level as your vehicle.
Yes, Thunderbolt Adventure Supply Gear Sleds and Camp Kitchens are guaranteed from all manufacturing defects for the first year to the original owner. The warranty does not cover any damage caused by dropping, vehicular accidents/collisions, or using the kitchen in any way other than suggested by Thunderbolt Adventure Supply, LLC. Product failure or damage due to improper installation, use, or modification is not covered by this warranty. Full warranty details are included with all our products.
Thunderbolt Adventure Supply will accept return requests for purchases within the first 30 days after delivery. New, unused Gear Sleds and Camp Kitchens in new condition and in their original packaging are eligible for a full refund less the cost of shipping and restocking fees.
Due to safety precautions, kitchens that have had the mounting hardware opened, installed, or attempted to be installed or have been mounted or attempted to be mounted to a vehicle cannot be returned.
All merchandise returned to Thunderbolt Adventure Supply must be in original packaging with all original items (e.g., manuals, stickers, mounting hardware, etc.) that came in the box.
Thunderbolt Adventure Supply charges a restocking fee for returns of undamaged and non-defective products. The restocking fee is 10% of the full cost of the item. The refund you receive will be net of the restocking fee, shipping expenses, and any applicable taxes.
Once a return request is approved, you will have 15 calendar days to return the item to Thunderbolt Adventure Supply.

We ship to the Continental United States. Shipping charges are determined by your location. Items are shipped freight, and therefore cannot ship to PO Boxes.
