Rivian has unveiled an ambitious update to its Autonomy+ roadmap, confirming that point-to-point assisted driving will begin a limited rollout later this year before expanding to all eligible owners in 2027. Powered by Rivian’s Large Driving Model and real-world fleet data, the feature will allow drivers to input an address and let their vehicle navigate city streets, highway junctions, and intersections under continuous driver supervision.

This major milestone builds on recent software updates that have already upgraded the driving experience, including expanding Lane Change on Command to all roads and introducing real-time driver visuals for traffic lights, stop signs, and cones. By leveraging rapid advancements in its software stack, Rivian continues to accelerate its autonomous capabilities and deliver exciting next-generation features directly to its drivers.
