Rivian will soon integrating Youtube into the R1T and R1S. Rivian is also adding Google Cast capabilities so passengers will be able to project Cast-enabled apps directly from Apple or Android phones or tablets directly to the R1's center display.

Vehicles must be parked safely with devices connected to the vehicle's WiFi hotspot before enabling Casting features. Using Cast-enabled apps will play through the vehicle's screen and sound system.

The vehicle will automatically pause Casting features if the vehicle is shifted into Drive mode. The new capabilities will be available via over-the-air update.
