Team 1EV has engineered a HEPA Cabin Air Filter specifically for the Rivian R1T and R1S.  A clean filter helps prevent dust and allergens from making their way into the cab. This in-vehicle filtration replacement offers a HEPA grade protection with antimicrobial properties, activated carbon to repel odors and VOCs and a particle layer that's nearly 100% effective against soot.

What is HEPA? It is a type of pleated air filter. It is an acronym for "high efficiency particulate air filter" (as officially defined by the U.S. Dept. of Energy).  This type of air filter can theoretically remove at least 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and any airborne particles with a size of 0.3 microns (µm). The diameter specification of 0.3 microns corresponds to the worst case; the most penetrating particle size (MPPS).  Any dirt or airborne particles that are larger are trapped with even higher efficiency. Using the worst case particle size results in the worst case efficiency rating (i.e. 99.97% or better for all particle sizes).  HEPA filters are recommended for anyone seeking the best air filtration possible.
