Rivian has been granted a special use permit for a 33,000 square-foot EV service and demonstration center in Appleton, WI. Construction is slated to begin in September with completion by summer 2026.

Rivian intends to store, prep, and repair pre-ordered vehicles in the region along with running weekday demo drives. This facility will also help tighten service radii and boost parts availability for Rivian-certified centers.

The special use permit hinges on Rivian receiving a Wisconsin dealer license, a requirement for storing multiple titled vehicles.
